17K MY WAY

If you would like to do The Big Mission Home, but are unable to join us on 22nd March, you can do your own 17k challenge on any day in March.

Before HomeGround, 17km is the distance that some people living on the streets were having to walk each day to access basic services.  So we encourage you to create your challenge around the theme of 17k.

Make it a team challenge by inviting friends, family and colleagues to join you!  Here are some ideas...

17,000 STEPS EVERY WEEKEND

10,000 steps is a challenge - how about 17,000 for each weekend of March?  You can pick whether you do this over the weekend, or on both days.  Just make sure you tell your sponsors how hard you are working!

TEAM CHALLENGE - TOTAL WALK OF 17KM EVERY DAY

All of these work in teams but how about walking 17km every day in March across your team?  Members can connect their devices and you check your totals every 24 hours to ensure you are getting your kms in.
