It's easy to make a difference. Your personal online fundraising page will be set up automatically when you register for The Big Mission Home and we have lots of effective tips and resources below to make your fundraising a breeze.
We suggest a fundraising target of $500, but just remember ... the sky's the limit!
Below are some brief tips, then we have a more indepth Fundraising Guide, some posters and lots of social tiles you can use either in print or across your networks to share.

TELL YOUR STORY
Take the time to personalise your online fundraising page including why fundraising for the Mission is important to you. Telling your 'why' will inspire others to make a difference too.
MAKE YOUR FIRST DONATION A GOODIE
Your sponsors will often match previous donations so make sure the first is a generous one. The more it is, the higher the following donations are likely to be.
DONATE TO YOURSELF FIRST
Your sponsors will often match previous donations so it's important that the first is a generous one. By showing others you're serious about making a difference by donating yourself, you'll motivate them to donate to your page.
ASK...AND ASK AGAIN
It will often take several reminders before your peers will donate, so don't be afraid to ask multiple times. Posting regularly about your preparations, use the resources below or share stories and information we will provide along the way is a good way to ask for support.
BREAK IT DOWN
Asking for $500 may feel a lot - but asking for 25 people to donate $20, or 50 people to donate $10, may feel easier! Think about how you can creatively break your fundraising goal into a bite sized portion and go for it!
MATCHED DONATIONS
Many fundraisers find their workplaces get onboard too, so if you have a workplace to call on, why not ask if they will dollar match your fundraising efforts or make a donation.
SAY THANKS
Make sure you take the time to thank your sponsors. You can do this easily by personalising the thank you email template on the dashboard on your online fundraising page.
