Help Me Make a Difference

On 16th June,  I’ll be taking part in an incredible event - the Auckland City Mission Cook Off. Joining forces with senior business leaders and top chefs at St Matthew in the City to take on the exciting challenge of cooking a delicious three-course meal for 150 Auckland City Mission guests. Many of these guests are experiencing homelessness or struggling to put food on the table. 

This event is so much more than just a meal; it embodies hope and a sense of community for those who need it most.  I've committed to fundraising at least $10,000.  The more I raise the more people we can help.

EVERY SINGLE WEEK, over 1,600 warm and nutritious meals are served in Haeata, the Mission’s community dining room, to people who are living on the streets or in substandard accommodation without the ability to cook. With winter fast approaching, many people living on the streets will endure harsh, cold and wet weather, but Haeata will continue to be a safe, dry space offering meals and connecting people to essential Missions support.

My fellow participants and I are aiming to raise enough funds to provide 15,625 meals this winter.   Your generous donation can make a significant difference - by donating $320 you could provide 20 warm and nutritious meals in Haeata; by donating $160 you could provide 10 meals. Big or small – every contribution counts and will make a meaningful impact.
