I'm taking on The Big Mission Home!

I am taking part in The Big Mission Home this March to raise funds for the Auckland City Mission - Te Tāpui Atawhai.

For more than a century, the Mission has been supporting Aucklanders in their times of need - providing nutritious food, homes, crisis support, medical care and dignity.  As the Mission responds to unprecedented demand for their essential services, they need our help more than ever.

A hug thank you to you all for supporting me and Georgie - we raised $860 and had a great hikoi this morning with Olga.

Saturday 9th Mar
Today Georgie & I walked from home to Devonport which was 10km which she managed well. The cutest thing happened on the way, an elderly man on a mobility scooter flagged us down on the footpath and said "Your dog rang me and said she wanted a dog biscuit" and produced a little bone shaped dog biscuit out of his bag! She was very impressed :)
Just to clarify, the hikoi is Saturday 23 March - I didn't realise it was not on the automated text from the City Mission.
