This March we’re stepping things up – and you can join us!
Hey famz for the month of March we are committing to 7,000 steps a day this March to raise funds for Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai.
They support people in our city with nourishing kai, safe housing, and healthcare when life is tough.
Not only that you could create a new habit and check this out:
Research shows that adults who walk about 7,000 steps a day have markedly better health outcomes than people who take far fewer steps. Compared with those walking around 2,000 steps per day, 7,000 daily steps is associated with roughly a 47% lower risk of dying from any cause, plus big reductions in risk for cardiovascular disease (about 25%), dementia, depression and type 2 diabetes. ❤️🩹
