By registering for Auckland Angels, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. About Auckland Angels
Auckland Angels is a Christmas giving campaign run by Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai (the Mission). It brings people, workplaces, community groups, schools and other organisations together to collect Christmas gifts and food to support Auckland families doing it tough.
2. Registering for Auckland Angels
When you register, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
If you are registering on behalf of a workplace, school, community group, organisation or other group, you confirm that you have permission to do so.

3. Communication from the Mission
We will use the contact details you provide to communicate with you by email and SMS about Auckland Angels and other campaigns. This may include campaign updates, important information, collection and donation details, resources, ideas and other useful information to help you make the most of your Auckland Angels activity.
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Mission's Privacy Policy, which is available on the Mission website.
4. Collecting and donating goods
Any food, Christmas gifts or other goods collected as part of your Auckland Angels activity are to be given to the Mission by close of business on 23 December 2026, unless you have made alternative arrangements with us.
If you are unable to meet this date or need to discuss an alternative donation arrangement, please contact the Mission as soon as possible at fundraising@aucklandcitymission.org.nz
The Mission will use donated goods to support the Mission’s clients and partner Maraes. This may include distributing goods directly to people and families, using them as part of our services, or other appropriate uses that support our work.
5. What can be donated
Please make sure donations meet the Mission's current donation guidelines.
We may not be able to accept items that are unsafe, damaged, expired, opened, unsuitable or otherwise inappropriate for donation. If you are unsure whether something can be donated, please contact us before collecting it.

6. Getting donations to the Mission
Unless another arrangement has been agreed with the Mission, Auckland Angels participants are responsible for getting their gifts and food to the Mission by the agreed deadline.
Please contact us if you have collected a large quantity of goods or need to discuss delivery or collection arrangements.
7. Money and fundraising
If you choose to raise money as part of your Auckland Angels activity, all funds must be raised through the official fundraising options provided by the Mission.
Money raised through Auckland Angels fundraising pages will be received by the Mission and used to support its work with people and families.
Do not collect donations into a personal bank account or other personal payment account on behalf of the Mission.
8. Using Auckland Angels resources and branding
The Mission may provide Auckland Angels participants with posters, graphics, logos, templates and other campaign resources.
These resources are provided for use in connection with Auckland Angels. Please don't alter the Mission logo or other branding, or use the Mission's name or branding in a way that suggests you are an official spokesperson or representative of the Mission.
9. Running your own collection activity
If you organise an Auckland Angels collection at your workplace, school, community group, business or elsewhere, you are responsible for making sure your activity is safe and appropriate and complies with any relevant rules or requirements that apply to your venue or organisation.
The Mission is not responsible for the organisation or operation of individual collection activities, except where required by law.
10. Photos and content
If you send photographs, videos or other content to the Mission in connection with Auckland Angels, you confirm that you have permission from the people shown or featured in that content to share it with us.
By sending us content, you give the Mission permission to use it for Auckland Angels and Mission-related communications and promotional purposes.
11. Changes to Auckland Angels
We may need to change campaign information, resources, dates or arrangements from time to time. We will do our best to communicate any significant changes to registered participants.
The Mission reserves the right to decline or cancel a registration where necessary, including where these terms are not being followed or an activity could negatively affect the Mission or Auckland Angels campaign.
