Each year the Auckland City Mission - Te Tāpui Atawhai, offer the families we have supported through the year extra help with food and gifts over Christmas.
Your contribution to this year's Auckland's Angels is so much more than a donation. It shows families that their community cares about them. It means kids can look forward to a Christmas knowing there will be something under the tree and on the table.

How You Can Help
Collect food, gifts or funds - or all three - for families doing it tough this Christmas!
Our Sign Up form gives you the opportunity to tell us what you are planning.
It also creates a fundraising page for your group or organisation to use. This is helpful if people forget their gifts, are time poor, or are geographically distant - but still want to contribute.

Bringing the Joy of Christmas to Iris
Instead of worrying about the bills, this Christmas Iris is looking forward to spending precious time with her children and grandchildren.
Knowing that the Mission can provide much needed support takes an enormous amount of stress off Iris.
The Mission’s box of food enables her to enjoy the pleasure of giving as she will forgo any treat such as chocolates, instead wrapping them up as gifts for her family. She knows she will be able to contribute towards a special Christmas meal with her whānau.
“I am very grateful for the Mission”, says Iris. “They do a marvellous job and without their help Christmas would be too hard for me.”
Behind the scenes, our Auckland's Angels are the ones donating the food and funds we need to support people like Iris. You are often anonymous but we know and appreciate you.
Your Impact

Thank You to Our 2023 Angels
In 2023 we had more Angels than ever before.
Thanks to you, over 7,000 households were able to enjoy a Christmas meal of roast chicken, potatoes, vegetables and gravy, plus pavlova and jelly for dessert.
A further 15,000 children were excited on Christmas morning to see gifts of new toys, books, teddy bears, you name it! Your donations enabled us to buy thousands of gift cards, so teenagers were not forgotten.
Thank you all so much for your time and generosity to ensure that fellow Aucklanders could also look forward to Christmas day.
