How to Organise a Food, Gift or Funds Collection

On behalf of the people in our community, thank you for sharing the joy of Christmas at a time that can be stressful and lonely for so many.

Step 1: Sign Up

Please use the Sign Up form to let us know how we can contact you and whether you are collecting gifts, food or funds (or all 3).

This form also creates an optional fundraising page for your organisation just in case colleagues or friends find it easier to donate funds.

Step 2: Know Your Dates

Please can all Angels have your collections to us by 19th December.  This gives us time to distribute to the families we've been working with through the year.

Food received after this will still be used in food boxes across December and January and gifts can be stored for next year.  

Step 3: Get Resources

Here are printable posters to put up at your office, school or church showing gift and food ideas or to decorate your collection boxes. 

There are also social media resources so you can tell the world!

Step 4: Set Up Your Collection Point

Set up a clearly marked place where your community can drop off their donations. 

We suggest you include the dates your collection is running (to and from) and the details of your online fundraising page for those who prefer to donate funds, or who forget to bring their gift in time.

Step 5: Tell Everyone

Tell your community what you are collecting for the Mission and how they can support you. 

Make it easy for them by giving them dates, locations and a list of items they can purchase, or a link to your fundraising page.  

Step 6: Drop Off Your Collection

We have a small team of drivers and trucks so are asking all our Angels to drop off whenever possible.  We can't offer this for small collections so please consider dropping to your nearest library.

9th - 20th December (Monday - Friday)
You can drop off to us between 12-6pm.  

AUCKLAND LIBRARIES: 

Participating libraries from Orewa to Papakura
1st - 19th of December.
