March Mission

This March, I’m stepping up for an epic challenge – and I need your help!

I’m walking 7,000 steps a day to help change lives, and every step counts.
Will you donate to support my challenge, and help me reach my fundraising goal?

Your contribution will go straight to Auckland City Mission - Te Tāpui Atawhai, helping provide nourishing kai, safe housing, and healthcare for people doing it tough.

The Mission works every day to support people when they need it most, speak up for those facing hardship, and create real opportunities for people to thrive. With your help, we can make a real difference – one step at a time.

Are you with me? Please donate today.

My Why

Wednesday 25th Feb

This March I’m doing March for Mission for Auckland City Mission.

The goal: 7,000 steps a day. Every day. For 31 days.

Simple? Perhaps. But pointless? Not at all.

Right now, 1 in 3 Kiwis have less than $500 in savings. Thousands of people in Tāmaki are relying on food parcels, housing support and crisis services just to get through the week. The demand on Auckland City Mission has surged over the past few years — and it’s not slowing down.

It’s easy to talk about “the economy” in abstract terms. It’s harder to ignore what that actually looks like for real families.

So this is my small commitment: move my body every day and use it to raise awareness (and hopefully some funds).

And because I know myself, I’ve added stakes.

If I miss a day, I donate $20. No carry-overs, step hoarding or excuses.

If you’d like to support the cause, your donation would mean the world. If not, that’s okay,  I’ll still be walking.

Discipline is easy when it’s for something bigger than you.
