Iโ€™m fundraising for the Auckland City Mission whฤnau this Christmas

This year will be a particularly tough Christmas for many people and families in our community.ย 

When everyone around themย  is planning to celebrate with gifts, food and family, many families the Mission support will be wondering how they can give their children a Christmas gift and a decent meal.ย ย 

My target is to raise $1000. This will go towards gifts for 50 children this Christmas. Yes, 50!ย 

Please donate what you can.ย ย Your gift is so much more than a donation.ย  It means a present under the tree for each child and the knowledge that parents can put a Christmas meal on the table even at a time when there are extra bills.

This Christmas season, as I reach a milestone birthday โ€” my 50th! โ€” Iโ€™d like to celebrate a little differently. Instead of receiving gifts (I know itโ€™s a little presumptuous on my part ๐Ÿ˜‰), Iโ€™m asking friends, family, and anyone touched by the holiday spirit to join me in raising funds to brighten the lives of children who may be facing a tough season.

With your donations, Auckland City Mission will provide gifts to kids who may not otherwise experience the warmth and excitement of Christmas morning. Every contribution, big or small, will bring a smile to a young face and show them they are cared for and valued.
